Wattalapan
Ingredients
3/4 lb grated jaggery
2 cups of thick coconut milk
8 eggs
1tsp grated nutmeg
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/2 cup chopped cashew nuts
Method
1. Break the eggs into a bowl and whisk well.
2. Add grated jaggery,nutmeg,cardamom powder and cashew nuts to the mixture.
3. Mix well, strain and pour into a Pyrex bowl.
4. Cover with foil and steam for 30 minutes.
5. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
6. Refrigerate before serving.
